Given our recognition of many types of learners in our present student body, this is an area which we need to expand our faculty development. As a strong academic institution, we need to be able to instruct our students in ways that will help them gain their full potential.

Differentiated Instruction (DI) implies to include many parameters in planning a unit. There's a website that explain very well what DI is about: http://www.cast.org/publications/ncac/ncac_diffinstruc.html
I invite you guys to check it out!
This send us back to the fact that teachers need more planning time. It is usually stated that it takes a least as much time ( and often more) to plan a good lesson as it takes to teach it.
